Adaptive Medical Equipment, Inc has created this statement in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to privacy.

Adaptive Medical Equipment, Inc believes that strong electronic privacy is crucial. Therefore, unless you designate otherwise, any information you enter within these publications will be known only to you and Adaptive Medical Equipment, Inc.

We pledge that Adaptive Medical Equipment, Inc will not release your personal data to anyone else without your consent - period. Contact information may be used occasionally by Adaptive Medical Equipment, Inc to notify users of new services, events or the like, but will not be given or sold to third parties.

You may change the status of any subscriptions you may have to our publications at any time. Simply send an email with your name and email address requesting cancellation and we will comply with your request and confirm with an email.

When we do present user information to our advertisers or audience, it is in the form of statistical compilations of data from visitors' answers to survey questions as well as grouped on-site behavior.

Financial information that is collected is used only to bill the user for products and services, but is never released to anyone without a "need to know," for any reason.

Our site contains links to other sites. Adaptive Medical Equipment, Inc is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such Web sites.

 

AME Inc Return Policy

All customers must review and approve the Return Policy prior to placing an order.

All returns must be in their original packaging and require a RAN (Return Authorization Number) clearly marked on top of the package. Packages without a RAN will not be accepted.

Returned items that have suffered physical damage by the customer will not be accepted for any reason.

All products purchased from AME, Inc. may be returned within a period of 30 days from the date of purchase, unless otherwise stated in this policy.

Only those items specifically designated as being on Back-Order may be returned within a period of 30 days from the date of delivery.

All returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee.

Shipping is non-refundable. All international returns must also be prepaid by the customer.

Credit for purchases will only be issued once the returned item has been received, inspected and processed by the shipping/ receiving department. Customers whose returned merchandise arrives with missing parts or components will be charged for the missing parts in addition to the restocking fee. Prior to issuing credit a customer service representative will contact the client via phone, email or fax and inform them of the total credit to be issued to the customer's credit card.

Orders for products that are available in stock and which are placed prior to 3 pm Central time during the regular work week are typically processed within 2-4 hours. Orders placed after 3 pm Central time, on weekends or holidays are processed the following work day. An order cancellation fee of 10% will be charged on all orders that have already been processed, but not shipped.

All used medical equipment sales are final and are not refundable or exchangeable without a prior written permission from AME, Inc.

Due to the nature of items in the Specials section (as identified by AME, Inc.), returns for credit or replacement will be limited to those products that are damaged or defective upon delivery. Due to limited stock, replacements for Special category products may not be available immediately.

Defective medical products will be exchanged with the same products.

Items such as exam tables, treatment, storage & narcotics cabinets, mayo stands, hospital beds, lift chairs, customized power chairs, wheelchairs, scooters, etc. as well as any custom/ special orders are not returnable and nonrefundable. These products can not be returned to AME, Inc. and may only be repaired or retuned to the manufacturer at the manufacturer’s discretion. All written product warranties will be honored by the product manufacturer.

Any product that has been worn or came into contact with the human body is not returnable or refundable. Items such as pillows, diapers, mattresses, cushions, hand splints, commodes and other medical supplies and products are single-use patient items and cannot be returned due to state and federal regulations.

AME, Inc. is not liable for shipments made to us. We recommend that our customers use shipping companies such as UPS, FedEx, DHL/ Airborne Express or the U.S. Postal Service with good packaging (original packing preferred) and full insurance paid. The RAN that was issued to you should be clearly written on the top of the box and not covered by any labels. Some of the products will be shipped directly to the manufacturer.
